Ashton Walker Sorrells, 8, of Buena Vista, Virginia, died on Saturday, October 6, 2012.

Born on May 4, 2004, in Lexington, Va., he was a son of Joshua Lee Sorrells and Crystal Gail Sorrells.

In addition to his parents, surviving are one brother, Bryson Holland; grandparents, Toby and Priscilla Sorrells, Herman Clark Jr., and Margie Clark; two great grandmothers, Gay Sorrells and Agnes Camden; and many special friends and family.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 10, 2012, at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Jay Thorne officiating.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up at Community Bank in Buena Vista in Ashton's name. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 9, 2012, at Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, Va., 540-463-2912.
