Carl Michael Moore, 62, of Lexington, Virginia, died Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at his home.

Born May 18, 1950, in Lexington, he was a son of the late John Carl Moore and Mary Bertha Sorrells Moore.

Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Juanita Moore, of Lexington; one son, Michael Darrin Moore, of Elk Horn City, KY; two sisters, Mary Ann White and husband, Rudell; Deborah Kibler and husband, Ed, all of Lexington; one brother, John L. "Pete" Moore and wife, Edna, of Gordonsville.

A private graveside service will be conducted with the Pastor Luther Witt officiating.

The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, October 19, 2012, at Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington.
