Obituary for Dorothy Holloway Sharp Dorothy Holloway Sharp
Worked With Halmode, The Comfort Inn and Knights Court Inn

Dorothy Ann Holloway Sharp, 63, of 316 East Hazel Street, died Wednesday, October 24, 2012, at Lewis Gale Hospital in Salem.

She was born November 15, 1948 in Covington, a daughter of the late Ralph and Elizabeth Davis Holloway.

Mrs. Sharp was an employee of the former Halmode, Inc. For a number of years she was employed by Comfort Inn and Knights Court Inn before her retirement.

She was a member of the Concerned Christian Baptist Church where she was an active member of the W.O. Hickman Choir and the Hospitality Committee. She was a member of the Covington Post 1033 Post Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Surviving are her husband, Theodore "PeeWeeÓ" Sharp of Covington; Children, Charlotte M. Moore of Covington; Keith Moore and his wife, Dionne of Covington; Darin Moore and his wife Jennifer of Chesapeake; Teresa Johnson of Richmond; three brothers, Lee Wayne Holloway and his wife Vannie; Sherman Holloway and his wife Brenda and Ronald Holloway and his wife Angela all of Covington; one sister Connie Holloway and Jasper Crawley of Covington; three aunts; Helen Holloway, Elnora Tyler, both of Covington, and Yvonne Laws of Alaska; Special Friends; Linda Jordan and Pat Lemelin, both of Covington, and a host of grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Arritt Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 29, 2012 in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. William O. Hickman III officiating.

The interment will be made in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
