Obituary for Julian Grayson Hamilton Julian Grayson Hamilton
First Baptist Church Member Dies At Age 50

Julian Grayson Hamilton, age 50, of 807 Mound Street, Clifton Forge, Virginia, died Friday, November 2, 2012 at his residence.

Born October 3, 1962, Julian was a son of the late Henry Richard and Virginia Archie Hamilton.

He was a member of First Baptist Church in Clifton Forge, where he served as deacon and was on the Usher Board.

He enjoyed football, hunting, and fishing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Estelle Cheese.

He is survived by two sisters, Kimberly Price and husband, Oliver of Culpeper, and Hattie Laurendine of Baltimore, MD; two aunts, Antoinette Archie of Richmond, and Carrie Ann Gilbert of Long Island, NY; a niece, Kori Price; and a number of cousins.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in First Baptist Church, Clifton Forge with Reverend Arlene Cooper officiating, and Reverend Roslyn Thomas delivering the eulogy. Interment followed in Red Hill Cemetery, Clifton Forge.

Pallbearers were Richard Wallace, Henry Saucier, Scott Pierce, A. C. Cooper, Roy E. Byrd, and Gregory Key. The deaconesses of the church served as flower bearers. The family received friends at First Baptist Church on Wednesday morning one hour prior to the service.
