Obituary for Mary Lynne Sprouse Holley Mary Lynne Sprouse Holley
Nurse Supervisor Was Faith Baptist Church Member, Longtime Volunteer

Mrs. Mary Lynne Sprouse Holley, age 47, of Covington, Virginia, went to be with her Lord, Saturday, November 10, 2012, at LewisGale Hospital, Salem.

She was the wife of Freddy E. Holley, Jr.

Mrs. Holley was born May 19, 1965 in Clifton Forge, the daughter of Juanita Frances Bowen Sprouse and the late James Edward "Jim" Sprouse.

A lifetime member of this community, she was employed as a Registered Nurse Supervisor by Mountain Regional Hospice.

Mrs. Holley was a member of Faith Baptist Church and also volunteered for many Christian relief organizations including God's Pit Crew, Gleaning for the World and Mercy Chefs.

In addition to her mother and husband, Mrs. Holley is survived by one son, Ryan Todd Holley; one brother, James Todd Sprouse of Goodview; one sister, Kathy Lea Price and husband, Robbie of Forest; two nephews, Luke Price and Evan Price; her father-in-law, Freddy E. Holley, Sr. and wife, Shirley; her mother-in-law, Ruth Hepler and husband, Carlos; brother-in-law, Scott Holley and wife, Tonya of Covington and children, Kirsten Holley and Logan Holley; sister-in-law, Lisa Jo Hall and husband, David of Covington and children, Brandon Hall of Roanoke and Chelsea Hall of Radford; two aunts, Judi Sumner and husband, Russell of Winston-Salem, NC, Tressie Faidley and husband, Al of Murrells Inlet, SC; uncle, Charles V. Bowen of Roanoke; cousins, Lisa Kay Floyd and husband, Dean of Murrells Inlet, SC, John Faidley and wife, Stephanie of Winston-Salem, NC; special friends, Crystal Mays of Forest and Dusty Kemper of Covington; special companions, her dogs, Maggie and Goldie.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 15, 2012, at Faith Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy Price officiating. Interment will follow in Alleghany Memorial Park with Rev. Chris Chesley officiating. Pallbearers will be Mark Smith, Scott Holley, James Hodge, Jon Fitzgerald, Thom Burnette and Daniel Seay.

Alternate pallbearers will be Robbie Price and Dan Fey.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday afternoon from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. at Loving Funeral Home.

The family suggests that memorial donations be made to God's Pit Crew, 2499 N. Main Street, Danville, VA 24540.
