Obituary for Norma Keatley Gwinn Norma Keatley Gwinn
Retired Travel Counselor Was Covington Resident

Mrs. Norma Keatley Gwinn, age 85, of Covington, Virginia, died December 20, 2012 at Highland House Assisted Living, Clifton Forge.

She was the wife of the late David Riffe Gwinn, who preceded her in death in 1990.

Mrs. Gwinn was born June 20, 1927 in Alderson, WV, the daughter of the late Charles S. Keatley and Lottie Cook Keatley.

She was a member of this community since 1967 and was a retired travel counselor for the Virginia Department of Tourism.

Mrs. Gwinn was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Mrs. Gwinn is survived by one son, Michael David Gwinn; three granddaughters, Amanda M. Isaacs and husband, Cliff of Mt. Airy, NC, Jenni M. Bird and husband, Russell of Wytheville, Holly M. Comber and husband, Shane of Stockton, NJ; six great grandchildren, Collin Phillips, Emma Claire Isaacs, Eden Paige Isaacs, Thomas Comber, Evelyn Comber and Finley Bird; sister-in-law, Joan Robertson and husband, John of Midlothian.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Gwinn was preceded in death by one daughter, Sandra Gwinn Montgomery in 1997.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m.Thursday, December 27, 2012, at Alleghany Memorial Park with Father Tom Collins officiating.

The family suggests that memorial tributes be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 255 W. Main Street, Covington, VA 24426.
