Homemaker Was McAllister Memorial Presbyterian Church Member

Beulah Marie Crawford Hill, age 91, of The Springs Nursing Home in Hot Springs, Virginia, and formerly of East Cedar Street, Covington, Virginia died Sunday, December 30, 2012 at The Springs.

Born September 17, 1921 in Craig County, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Charles Harrison and Emma Adams Crawford.

She was a homemaker throughout her life and a member of McAllister Memorial Presbyterian Church, where she was in the Littlepage/Gooch Sunday School Class and Circle # 2 of the Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Franklin Hill in April of 1993; three brothers, Roy Crawford, Maynard Crawford, and Theron Crawford; and a son-in-law, Walter Broughman.

She is survived by three daughters, Patricia Howard and husband, Reginald of Odenton, MD, Anita Broughman of Covington, and Diane Barksdale and husband, Wayne of Covington; two sisters, Phyllis Porter of Mauldin, SC and Frances Brouse and husband, Tommy of Sanford, NC; three brothers, Jake Crawford and wife, Mildred of Covington, Harold Crawford of Covington, and Denny Crawford and wife, Evon of Madison, WI; eleven grandchildren, Teri Howard McElwee and husband, Rick, Kelly Howard Meyers and husband, Scott, Tracie Howard, Stacie Howard Anuszkiewicz and husband, Dennis, Mike Broughman and wife, Leigh, Kevin Broughman, Kippy Broughman and wife, Mary Beth, Eric Broughman, Shelly Curtis and husband, Richard, Tim Yox and wife, Dawn, and Brian Barksdale; sixteen great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Reverend Mike Fleenor officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Clifton Forge. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Nicely Funeral Home.
