Obituary for Grace (Vivian) Knick Craft Clark Grace (Vivian) Knick Craft Clark
Rockbridge County Native Dies At Age 82

Grace (Vivian) Knick Craft Clark, age 82 of The Woodlands Nursing Home in Clifton Forge, Virginia, and formerly of Venus Way, Clifton Forge, died Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at The Woodlands.

She was born November 28, 1930 in Rockbridge County, Virginia, to the late Lawrence and Nannie Jeffries Knick.

She was a homemaker throughout her life and was of the Baptist faith.

She loved professional wrestling and listening to the music of George Jones.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by first husband, Harry Craft and second husband, Henry Jackson Clark; seven sisters; and two brothers.

She is survived by four daughters: Grace Craft of Clifton Forge, Brenda Craft of Low Moor, Karen Craft of Clifton Forge, and Tammy Thomas and husband, Glenn of Selma; four sons, Richard Craft of Eagle Rock, Henry Clark and wife, Karen of Clifton Forge, Donald Clark and wife, Michelle of Gallatin, TN; and Jimmy "Bo" Clark and wife, Melissa of Low Moor; a sister, Clara Dudley of Selma; eighteen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, with Reverend Gordon Hammond officiating. Interment will follow in Central Advent Christian Cemetery, Clifton Forge.

Pallbearers will be Timothy Thomas, Glenn Thomas, Jr., Jerry Hepler, Charles Countryman, Ryan Clark, and Gavin Clark. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1:30 p.m. until time of service at Nicely Funeral Home.
