Hilda Cummings Hogue, 81, of Lexington, Virginia, died Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Stonewall Jackson Hospital.

Born July 31, 1931 in Rockbridge County, a daughter of the late Harry Russell Hogue Sr. and Hattie Cummings Hogue.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin brother, Harry Hogue Jr., a brother, James Hogue and her sisters, Dora DeVuono and Ruby H. Deacon.

Hilda was a member of the Oxford Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are her nieces, Susan Irvine and Robin Kramer, both of Lexington.

A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday 2 p.m., February 12, 2013 at Oxford Presbyterian Cemetery with the Rev. Horace Douty and the Rev. Doug Mitchell officiating.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Heritage Hall Residence Activities, 205 Houston Street, Lexington VA, 24450.
