Obituary for Richard Wilton Beadles Richard Wilton Beadles
Former Structural Steel Employee Was U.S. Army Veteran

Mr. Richard Wilton Beadles, age 67, of Vinton, died Sunday, February 3, 2013, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Roanoke.

He was the husband of Betty Persinger Beadles.

Mr. Beadles was born November 6, 1945 in Norfolk, the son of the late John Luther Beadles and Ruth Gilbert Beadles.

He was a veteran of the United States Army.

Mr. Beadles was employed in the steel fabrication department of Structural Steel before his retirement in 2007.

He was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Beadles was an avid outdoorsman who especially enjoyed fishing and hunting.

In addition to his wife, Betty Persinger Beadles, Mr. Beadles is survived by one daughter, Angela D. Ambrose and husband, Donald of Vinton; two sons, Barry D. Beadles and wife, Stephanie of Roanoke and Andrew D. Beadles and wife, Amanda of Roanoke; three grandchildren, Lesley A. Tingler and husband, Daniel of Roanoke, Jackson Edward Beadles of Roanoke and Cody Wilson of Roanoke; one brother, John Luther Beadles and wife, Gloria of Ross, TX; one sister, Gene McCormick of Lynchburg; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Beadles was preceded in death by one brother, Herman M. Beadles, and one sister, JoAnn Beadles.

A memorial service was conducted at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, February 7, 2013, from the chapel of Loving Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Washington officiating.
