We celebrate the life of Doris Huffman (Sissy) Hall, of Buena Vista, who went home to be with her husband, James P. (Buddy) Hall; daughter, Pamela Hall Staats, both of Buena Vista, and other saved family members who have gone on before her.

Sissy was the daughter of the late Dan Lee Huffman and Pauline Flint Huffman, of Buena Vista.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert L. Huffman and sister-in-law, Nancy Burch Huffman, of Waynesboro.

Surviving family members include Clarissa Jo Tomlin, daughter and her husband, Randy Tomlin, of Glasgow; Kimberly Hall Dorey, granddaughter and husband, Brent Dorey, of Lexington; great-grandchildren, Alden Parrish Dorey, Kellan James Dorey and Holden Brown Dorey, of Lexington. Special honorary family members include Jerry and Margaret "Sam" Byers and Connie Brown.

Sissy was a role model of a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, friend, homemaker, church member, and all around good person, who never complained and always had a smile. She was known throughout her life for making beautiful and delicious cakes.

She was a member of Calvary Brethren Church, and a lifetime member of The Buena Vista Rescue Auxiliary.

Family night will be held at the Calvary Brethren Church in Buena Vista on Tuesday, February 19, 2013, from 5 to 7 p.m.

Funeral servicess will be held at the Calvary Brethren Church at 11 a.m. on Wednesday February 20, 2013. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery.
