Obituary for Bobby Lee Riley Bobby Lee Riley
Former Virginia National Guard Member Was Pulpwood Cutter

Bobby Lee Riley, age 72, of 4199 Pig Run Road, Millboro, Virginia, died Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Bath Community Hospital in Hot Springs.

Bobby was born December 11, 1941 in Bath County to the late Robert Jackson and Nora Catherine Kiser Riley.

He served in the Virginia National Guard and was a retired pulpwood cutter and also worked in various jobs throughout his life.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Doris R. Black.

He is survived by a daughter and three sons; a sister, Betty Loan and husband, Donald of Millboro; two brothers, Lewis Franklin Riley and wife, Darlene of Harpers Ferry, WV, and James Arthur "Jay" Riley of Low Moor; a number of nieces and nephews; and special friends, Palmer and Barbara Riley, W. C. Boothe, and James Pritt.

A graveside funeral service was held on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. in Horeb Baptist Church Cemetery in Bath County with Reverend David George officiating. Interment will follow. The family received friends on Friday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge or any other time at the residence of Donald and Betty Loan, 24242 Mountain Valley Road, Millboro, VA.

Arrangements were handled by Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge. The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the Windy Cove Food Pantry, C/O Beatrice Clark, 198 Cave Hill Road, Millboro, VA 24460.
