Obituary for O. Jackson Dudley O. Jackson Dudley
Rockbridge Farmers' Coop Retiree Was Lexington Baptist Church Member

Otho Jackson Dudley, 68, of Lexington, Virginia, died on Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Born May 17, 1944 in Rockbridge County, a son of the late Otho Herman Dudley and Nellie Lee Dudley.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Edith Clark; three brothers, Wayne, Fred, and Edgar Dudley.

Jackson was a member of the Lexington Baptist Church and retired from the Rockbridge Farmers' Cooperative.

Surviving are his wife, Patricia G. Dudley of Lexington; children, Ellen Hotchkiss and husband, Pierson, of Lexington; Diane Lusk and husband, Robert, of Indianapolis, Indiana; Thomas Dudley and Marie Dudley, both of Lexington; five siblings, Lee Dudley, of Lexington; Wilton Dudley, of Natural Bridge; Homer Dudley, Joanne Moore, both of Lexington; Lucy Marshall, of Natural Bridge; and six grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted noon, Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at Lexington Baptist Church with the Rev. Michael Wilburn officiating. Burial will follow at Rapps Mill Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service.
