West Virginia Native Was Clifton Forge Resident

Mary Frances Oscar Coleman Church, age 64 of 1725 Main Street, Clifton Forge, Virginia, died Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at LewisGale Hospital - Alleghany in Low Moor.

She was born November 25, 1948 in Marlinton, WV to the late John Henry Oscar, Sr. and Dollie McGlaughlin Oscar.

She was a homemaker throughout her life.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Delbert Lee Coleman, Sr. and her second husband, James Edward Church; a brother, John Henry Oscar, Jr.; a sister, Martha Cornwell; and one grandchild.

She is survived by four daughters, Wanita Dodrill and husband, Floyd of Craigsville, WV, Debra Wright of Richwood, WV, Cathy Nicely and boyfriend, John Loflin of Covington, and Betty Coleman and boyfriend, Michael Vess, Sr. of Covington; two sons, Joseph L. Coleman and wife, Angela of Clifton Forge and Delbert Lee "Jesse" Coleman and wife, Carla of Clifton Forge; three sisters, Betty Boone and husband, Wayne of Newport News, Margaret Maybush of Waynesboro, and Lola Harris of Richwood, WV; twelve grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Monday at 2:00 p.m. in Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery, Clifton Forge, with Reverend Gene Peters officiating. Interment will follow.

The family will receive friends at Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge on Monday afternoon, one hour prior to the service.
