Doris Harlow Hughes, age 60, of 104 Walton Church Lane, Clifton Forge, Virginia, died Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at LewisGale Hospital - Alleghany in Low Moor.

She was born September 25, 1952 in Clifton Forge to the late Ernest Linwood Harlow, Sr. and Annie Belle Wiley Harlow.

She was a cashier for Kelly's Market.

She is survived by her husband, John Mark Hughes of Clifton Forge; two daughters, Laura Hughes of Roanoke, and Kadie King and husband, Adam of Fredericksburg; two sisters, Pat Long and husband, Jimmy and Kay Noel; four brothers, Sonny Harlow, Jr. and wife, Shirley, Wayne Harlow and wife, Lana, Allen Harlow and wife, Mary, and Gary Harlow and wife, Lisa; one grandchild, Jack King; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated.

A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Lone Star Advent Christian Church, Clifton Forge, with Reverend Doug Moore officiating. The family will receive friends at the church following the service.
