Mildred Frances Tyree Pavlick, 89, of Fairfield, Virginia, died Friday, April 5, 2013.

Born July 18, 1923, in Rockbridge County, she was a daughter of the late John L. and Ollie Lee Sorrells Tyree.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Pavlick; and a son, Paul A. Pavlick Jr.

Mrs. Pavlick was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Fairfield Senior Citizens, and charter member of Blue Ridge Moose Lodge.

Surviving are two children, Dennis D. Pavlick and wife, Brenda, of Fairfield, and Carol Pavlick Kendrix and husband, Harvey, of Altus, Okla.; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at Harrison Funeral Chapel with Father Joseph D'Aurora officiating. Burial will follow in Rockbridge Memorial Gardens.

The family requests memorial contributions are made to American Cancer Society , 2840 Electric Road, Suite 106A, Roanoke, VA 24018; or a charity of your choice. The family received friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 8, 2013, at Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington.
