Obituary for John Carl Trempus John Carl Trempus
North Carolina Resident Was Former Hercules Engineer

John Carl Trempus, 91, of Zebulon, NC, died Friday, April 12, 2013, in Zebulon.

Mr. Trempus was born August 14, 1921, in Allegheny County, PA, a son of the late Nicklaus and Maria Moravec Trempus.

He was a graduate of the College of William and Mary and was employed as a chemical engineer for Hercules, Inc. for many years.

He was preceded in death by his Wife, Roberta Angus "Billie" Trempus, in 1996.

Surviving are his daughters, Patricia Trempus of Wendell, NC, and Carol Crompton and her husband, Jack, of Zebulon, NC; his granddaughter, Carmen Zepp; three great grandchildren; one brother, Alfred Trempus, of Cheswick, NC, and a beloved family member, Elizabeth Willems and her husband, Robert.

A Mass of Resurrection was held Monday, April 15, 2013, at the St. Eugene Catholic Church in Zebulon. A graveside service will be held Tuesday April 16, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. in Alleghany Memorial Park with Rev. Tom Collins officiating.

The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at Arritt Fuenral Home, Covington, Virginia.
