Carl Kenneth Wright, 74, of Buena Vista, Virginia, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2013.

Born January 21, 1939 in Loudoun County, he was a son of the late Edgar M. Wright and Awilda Groves Wright.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Mr. Wright was a member of the First Brethren Church in Buena Vista.

Surviving are his wife, Marnita Wright; five children, Karen Mitchell, Kenny Wright Jr. and wife, Barbara, Ellen Lowe, Casey St. Clair and husband, Paul, Danielle Cash and husband, Trey; one brother, Daniel Wright; two sisters, Sissy Bates and Sally Cornell; 10 grandchildren; several great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, May 10, 2013, at Green Hill Cemetery with Michael Hamilton officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Buena Vista.
