Obituary for Nancy Cox Kruszyna Nancy Cox Kruszyna
Certified Daffodil Judge Was First Presbyterian Church Member

Mrs. Nancy Cox Kruszyna, age 90, of Clearwater Park, Covington, Virginia, died Friday, May 3, 2013, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Chester Francis Kruszyna.

Mrs. Kruszyna was born October 30, 1922 in Alleghany County, the daughter of the late Hubert Erskine Cox and Mary Emma Dressler Cox.

She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Kruszyna was a lifetime member of First Presbyterian Church.

She was a certified daffodil judge, member of the Virginia Federation of Garden Clubs, a life member of the National Council of State Garden Clubs and a national judge emeritus. Mrs. Kruszyna was a member of the National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution and Friends of the Hunley.

Mrs. Kruszyna is survived by her son, Frank Kruszyna and special friend, Francie Stuphin of Christiansburg; and nieces, Anne Epting, MD and Bill Capeheart, Jean and Fred Blackbron and Dr. Carol Cox Pursley.

The family would like to give special thanks to Rev. Jamie Pharr and caregivers, Pat Shifflett, Barbara Bunch, Barbara Black, Lisa Black, Susan Baird, Cindy Keen, Carol Angle, Lisa Vest and Mountain Regional Hospice.

A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.

The family suggests that memorial tributes may be made to Mountain Regional Hospice, P.O. Box 637, Clifton Forge, VA 24422 or First Presbyterian Church, 185 N. Maple Avenue, Covington, VA 24426.
