Robert Wayne (Bobby) Mann, age 44, of Smithfield, North Carolina, died on Sunday, May 26, 2013 at his residence.

Bobby was born in Covington, Virginia, on August 30, 1968.

He graduated from Alleghany High School and Elon College.

He was Vice President of Operations for StorageMax, was a member and past president of North Carolina Self Storage Association and was an avid outdoorsman.

Surviving are his wife, Kathy J. Mann; children, Jaycob of Greensboro, NC, and Brandon and Kayla of the home; parents, Mary and Glenn Jones of Covington, and Bill and Shirley Mann of Louisa; mother-in-law, Donna Spitler of Clayton, NC; father-in-law, Ron and Catherine Jancso of Nashville, NC; brother, Phillip Mann of Gainesville, FL; sister-in-law, Christine Jancso; brothers-in-law, Stephen Diane Jancso of Glenside, PA, John Chapman of Spring Lake, NC; and six nieces and nephews.

A graveside funeral service was held on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. in Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery, Clifton Forge, with Reverend Gary Marshall officiating.

The family received friends following the service at the camp home of Mary and Glenn Jones, 218 Glen Haven Drive, Clifton Forge, VA.
