Obituary for Louise Virginia Jones Louise Virginia Jones
Former First Union Bank Employee Was Mallow Presbyterian Church Member

Louise Virginia Jones, 75, of The Woodlands Nursing Home in Clifton Forge, Virginia, died Friday morning, July 12, 2013, at Lewis Gale ĞAlleghany Hospital in Low Moor.

Miss Jones was born October 30, 1937, in Covington, Virginia, a daughter of the late Moody Wilbur and Betty Smith Jones.

She retired in 1994 from the former First Union Bank in Arlington.

She was a member of Mallow Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by three sisters , Phyllis Crizer, Doris Vass and Wanda Jones, and three brothers, Charles Jones, Harold Jones and Kenneth Jones.

Surviving are her sister, Peggy McDowell of Chesapeake; a brother-in-law, John Crizer of Covington; a sister-in-law, Shirley Vinesett of Chester, and a number of nieces and nephews, as well as her Woodland's family, who lovingly cared for her over the last seven years.

The family received friends Friday evening at Arritt Funeral Home and will at other times at the residence of Bobby Crizer; 401 Corner Drive; Covington.

The funeral service was held Sunday, July 14, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Marshall officiating.

The interment followed in Alleghany Memorial Park.

Active pallbearers were David Crizer, Michael Crizer, Matthew Crizer, John McDowell, Wilbur Jones, Tim Bradley, Seth Bradley, Luke Bradley, Trace Garrett and Jason McCartney.

The family suggests that memorial donations in Louise's name be made to Mountain Regional Hospice, P.O. Box 637, Clifton Forge, VA 24422.

The Arritt Funeral Home, Covington, handled the arrangements.
