Lucille T. Farley, of Buena Vista, Virginia, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 5, 2013.

Born June 10, 1927, in Covington, she was a daughter of the late Calvin and Annie Newell Terry.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Lundy (Buck) Farley; a son-in-law, James Wright; and two brothers.

Mrs. Farley was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy for over 50 years.

She was retired from Lee's Carpets, Glasgow.

Surviving are four children, Saundra Wright, Madison Heights, Lundy (Skip) Farley and wife, Brenda, of Goldsboro, N.C., Pamela Moore and husband, Roger, Kenneth D. Farley and wife, Wanda, all of Buena Vista; one brother, Clyde Terry and wife, Peggy, of Covington; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at noon on Thursday, August 8, 2013, at Bolling Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Gary Vernon and the Rev. Greg Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. A special thanks to Guggenheimer's Rehabilitation Center of Lynchburg.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to Centra Hospice, 2097 Langhorne Road, Lynchburg, VA 24501 or the Church of God of Prophecy, Buena Vista.
