Mack Coleman Bayne, Jr., 82, of Mallow (Covington, Virginia), died Thursday, August 15, 2013 at Ft. Belvoir Community Hospital in Belvoir, VA.

He was born November 23, 1930 in Covington, a son of the late Mack C. Bayne, Sr. and Alma Rae Persinger Bayne.

Mr. Bayne retired as Sergeant with the United States Air force with over 20 years of service.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Bayne was preceded in death by a daughter, Faisia T. Bayne, and also by eight brothers and sisters.

Surviving are two sons, Mack C. Bayne III of Alexandria and Walter Bayne of Howell, New Jersey; one daughter, Maureen Bayne of Howell, NJ; and three grandchildren, Eliza Bayne; Jessica L. Bayne and Jeremy A. Sonntag.

A graveside service will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 25, 2013 in the Bowyer Cemetery with Elder James Arritt officiating. The family will receive their friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 PM at the Arritt Funeral Home on Sunday before service time.
