Kolby Allen Rathbun, infant son of William David and Anne Marie Via Rathbun of 209 Summit Drive, Covington, Virginia, died Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

He was born August 22, 2013 in Roanoke.

In addition to his parents, Kolby is survived a his big brother, William David "Will" Rathbun III of the home; maternal grandparents, Penny and John Murphy and Gary and Tina Via, all of Covington; paternal grandmother, Mary Brown of Covington; maternal great grandparents, James and Linda Baldwin of Covington; maternal great grandmother, Nancy Moss of Covington; paternal great grandparents, Butch and Faye Malcom, all of Covington; his aunt, Laura Via of Covington and his uncle, Jonathon Brown of Covington.

The funeral service will be held 6:00 p.m. Friday, September 20, 2013 in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Paul Harris officiating.

Following the service the family will receive their friends at the Arritt Funeral Home.
