Joseph Michael (Joe) Arrington, 62, of Roanoke, Virginia, and formerly of Rich Patch in Alleghany County, died, Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at his residence.

He was born October 6, 1950, a son of the late James L. and Agnes Gilbert Arrington.

In addition of his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Scott Felicita.

He was an employee of the Advance Auto Warehouse in Roanoke.

Surviving are his wife, Penny Allis Arrington of Roanoke; three sons, James Arrington and his wife, Sarah of Covington; Wesley Arrington and his wife, Crystal of Roanoke, and Keith Felicita of Roanoke; three daughters, Crystal Fridley and her husband, Scottie of Covington; Kathie Catterlin and her husband, John of Roanoke and Alisa Felicita of Sarasota, FL; eleven grandchildren; one great grandchild; two brothers, Donnie Arrington and his wife, Joyce, and Doug Arrington and his wife, Donna, all of Covington; one sister, Sandy Shawver and her husband, Donald of Covington and a number nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 27, 2013 in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Jones officiating.

The family will receive their friends from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. Thursday evening at the Arritt Funeral Home.
