Marjorie MacGregor Eggleston, 90, of 4118 Midland Trail Road, Covington, Virginia, died Sunday, September 29, 2013 at Lewis Gale Alleghany in Low Moor.

She was born October 12, 1922 in New Jersey, a daughter of the late William Bragdon and Marjorie Bateson Conkle MacGregor.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice K. Eggleston in 2004 and a brother, Quentin Roger DePuy.

Surviving are one daughter, Diane Malina of Covington; four sons, Dennis Eggleston and his wife, Blosson of Richmond; Stephen Kruse and his wife, Cathy of Waverly and Andrew Kruse and his wife, Triessa of Covington ; one step- daughter, Charlotte Kemble and her husband, David of Seatle, WA; one step-son, Maurice Eggleston and his wife, Pegeen of Newport News; 25 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; one sister, Joan DePuy Sawyer and her husband, Steve of Ft. Pierce, FL; two brothers, Bill DePuy and his wife, Judi of Escondido, CA and John DePuy and his wife, Sandra of Ramona, CA ; a sister-in-law, Mary Ann DePuy of Encinitas, CA, and a number of nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Mrs. Eggleston's wishes, her body has been cremated.

The funeral service will be held 6:00 p.m. Friday, October 4, 2013 in the Arritt Funeral Home with the Rev. Lynn Wright officiating.

Following the service, the family will receive their friends.
