Margaret Marie Morris Dale, 86, of Lexington, Virginia, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2013.

She was a member of the Lauderdale Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church. She was a charter member of the Lexington Rescue Squad Auxiliary and a Lexington Lioness.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Dale; parents, Howard and Lula Morris; grandson, Jackson Dale; sister, Dorothy Ponton; and nephew, Ricky Morris.

She is survived by her son, Sam Dale, of Daleville; granddaughter, Kerry Dale; grandson, Ryan Dale, both of Manassas; brother, Jimmy Morris, of Buchanan; special friends, Dolly Montgomery, Evelyn Newell and Bonnie Emore; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Margaret's life will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, October 26, 2013, in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with the Rev. Ben Dowling and the Rev. Steve Willis officiating.
