Mrs. Mary Sue Miller Hubbard, age 77, of Covington, Virginia, died Tuesday, October 29, 2013, at Lewis-Gale Hospital-Alleghany, Low Moor.

She was the wife of the late Benjamin Hoover Hubbard, Sr.

Mrs. Hubbard was born February 25, 1936 in Covington, the daughter of the late Carl Penic Miller and Laura Hazel French Miller.

A homemaker, Mary was a devoted wife and mother.

She was a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church.

Mrs. Hubbard is survived by six children: Cindy Powell, Sonia Lamb and husband, Wayne, Lisa Hubbard Mosby and husband, Thomas, Benny Hubbard, Jr. and wife, Terry, Tina Hubbard Worley and husband, David, and Martha Reynolds and husband, Billy; fourteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one sister-in-law; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. Friday, November 1, 2013, from the chapel of Loving Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Nicely officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Powell, Joshua Powell, Ethan Hubbard, Heath Hubbard, Cole Entsminger and Adam Worley. Alternate pallbearer will be Laura Hubbard.

The family will receive friends on Friday morning from 11:00 a.m.. until service time at Loving Funeral Home.
