Former Welder Was NASCAR Fan

Mr. Vincent Clyde (Vince) Hoke, Jr., age 45, left this world on Saturday, November 2, 2013.

Vince was born July 22, 1968 in Winter Park, FL, the son of Ava Evans and the late Vincent Hoke, Sr.

He worked as a welder until his health would no longer allow it and was an avid NASCAR fan.

Most of all, Vince cherished his daughter, Vanna and all of his nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his daughter, Vanna Nicole Hoke; mother, Ava Evans; stepfather, Larry Evans; brother, Vaughn Hoke and his wife, Lacey; sister, Ava Yates; nieces and nephews, John Jr., Tiffany, Meagan, Anthony, Madysen, Annalise, Vaughn, Jr., Dominick, Bryleigh and Kaelynn.

Mr. Hoke was preceded in death by his father, Vincent Hoke, Sr.; his grandparents, Clyde V. Hoke, Leona Alderman Hoke, and Ira Stone.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 16, 2013, from the chapel of Loving Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Gilliland officiating. Interment will follow in Hoke Chapel Cemetery.
