Obituary for Haven Lowell Wright, Sr. Haven Lowell Wright, Sr.
Royal Roofing Owner Attended New Hope Baptist Church

Haven Lowell Wright, Sr., 50 of 304 Royal Ave., Covington, Virginia, died Thursday, November 14, 2013 at his residence.

He was born April 10, 1963 in Harrisonburg, Virginia , a son of the late Lowell Denton and Marie Walton Wright.

Haven was owner of Royal Roofing and he attended New Hope Baptist Church.

He had a love of cars, auctions and antiques and his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Margie Jones, and a niece, Shanna Wright.

Surviving are his wife of 32 years, Glenda Brewster Wright, of Covington; two sons, Haven Wright, Jr. and his wife, Bridget, and Brandon Wright and his wife, Ashley, all of Covington; three grandchildren, Serenity Campbell; Tyler Wright and Mason Wright and soon to be born , Chesney Grace Wright; four brothers, Charles Wright of Lynchburg; Robert Wright and his wife, Judy, Dale Wright and his wife, Pam and Tony Wright, all of Covington; four sisters, Stella DePriest and her husband, Billy; Shirley Lamb and her husband, Jeff; Tammy Wolfe and her husband, Shorty and Melinda Yancey and her husband, Ed, all of Covington; his special dog, Winky, and a number of nieces and nephews.

The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Monday, November 18, 2013 in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home with the Rev. J.B. Broughman officiating.

The interment was made in Cedar hill Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Robert Phillips, Chuckie Walton, Kenny Jones, Jr., Ronnie Nida, Joey Brewster, Donnie Tucker, Chuckie Tingler and Jeff Lamb.

The Arritt Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
