Obituary for Wallace Fay Perdue Wallace Fay Perdue
Natural Bridge Station Resident Was U.S. Navy Veteran

Wallace Fay Perdue, 81, of Natural Bridge Station, Virginia, died on Sunday, December 8, 2013, at his home.

He was born on August 13, 1932, in Punxsutawney, Pa., a son of the late Fay Taff Perdue and Ruth Ridden Perdue.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Dottie Perdue; one son, Wesley Perdue; and two sisters, Nancy Lollie and Frances Scott.

Mr. Perdue was a member of the Calvary Brethren Church in Buena Vista and served his country in the United States Navy where he retired as a Chief.

Surviving are his wife, Ruby Fay Tomlin Perdue, of Natural Bridge Station; five children, Sandy McCullough and husband, Eddie, John Tomlin and wife, Vanessa, Kathy Bowyer and husband, Matt, all of Buena Vista, Debbie Swink and husband, Joey, of Waynesboro, and Kay Blackwell, of North Carolina; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 11, 2013, at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Rick Ramsey and Pastor Josh Jacobs officiating.

Burial will follow at Falling Spring Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Buena Vista, Va., 540-261-5510.
