He Was A Tek-Am Manufacturing Finisher Retiree; Served In The U.S. Navy

Emmett Leslie Stratton II, 85, of 735 High Street, Clifton Forge, Virginia, died Thursday, December 12, 2013, at his residence.

He was born September 13, 1928, in Clifton Forge, Virginia, to the late Ajax Michie Stratton and Ruth Craft Feagans Stratton.

He served in the United States Navy and was a retired Manufacturing Finisher for Tek-Am.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Sloan Stratton; a son, Emmett Leslie Stratton III; a sister, Betty Lou Baldry; and a brother, Charles Stratton.

He is survived by two sons, Robert Allen Stratton, of New Market, and Douglas Bryan Stratton, of Manassas; a sister, Jacqueline Stratton Yates and husband, Charles, of Spotsylvania County; two grandchildren, Eli Stratton and Clair Stratton; one great-grandchild; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated. There will be no services at this time.

Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, Virginia, is in charge of arrangements.
