Lucille Ferguson Harrison, of Buena Vista, Virginia, passed away December 28, 2013.

She was born March 9, 1929, in Rockbridge County, daughter of Joseph Cameron and Ruby McDaniel Ferguson.

She graduated from Natural Bridge High School.

She was a long time member of Buena Vista Baptist Church, where she attended regularly.

She worked at Burlington Industries, Rockbridge County Sheriff's Office and the Reeves Vulcan Plant.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Harry M. Harrison (Mack), her only child, Steven "Butch" Breedlove, a stepson, Scott Harrison, her sisters, Clara and Ashley Ferguson and her brother, Allen Alvin Ferguson.

Surviving Mrs. Ferguson are a niece, Sarah Gillie; a nephew, Gary Ferguson; sister-in-law, Joanne Seay; two great-nephews; her stepson, Robert McDowell Harrison Sr. and his wife, Margaret; grandchildren, Robert Jr. and wife, Ashton, of Lexington and Nathan and wife, Libbie, of Earlysville; granddaughter, Gabrielle, of Lexington; and great granddaughter, Alexis.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 31, 2013, at Green Hill Cemetery, with the Rev. Bryon LePere officiating.
