Blue Bird Retiree Was Lifelong Buena Vista Pentecostal Holiness Church Member

Tony Leon Stinnett, 69, of Buena Vista, Virginia, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2014.

Born January 7, 1945 in Rockbridge County, he was a son of the late Raymond Edward Stinnett and Frankie Scott Stinnett.

Tony was a lifelong member of the Buena Vista Pentecostal Holiness Church and attended the First Brethren Church in Buena Vista.

Tony retired from Blue Bird with over 25 years of service and Washington & Lee University with over 20 years of service.

Surviving are the mother of his children, Linda McGee; one daughter, Elonda Clark; one son, Todd Stinnett and wife Brooke; one brother, Barry Stinnett; two grandchildren, Ryan Clark; Emma Stinnett; numerous special friends.

A memorial service was conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, January 11, 2014 at the First Brethren Church in Buena Vista with the Rev. Preston Matheny, the Rev. W. David Bain, and Pastor Michael Hamilton officiating. The family received friends on Friday, January 10, 2014 at Bolling, Grose, and Lotts Funeral Home and also at 157 Tiffany Drive, Buena Vista at any time.

Arrangements were handled by Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
