U. S. Navy Veteran Was Retired Pipefitter

Harry Theodore Magee, Jr., age 74, of 2247 Mill Creek Road, Millboro, Virginia, died Thursday, January 16, 2014 at LewisGale Hospital - Alleghany, Low Moor, Virginia.

He was born February 3, 1939 in Pennsville, New Jersey, to the late Harry Theodore Magee, Sr. and Thelma Elizabeth Knapp Magee.

He served in the United States Navy and was a retired pipefitter for E. I. DuPont.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, William Albert Magee.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-two years, Mildred Ethel Boyd Magee of Millboro; a daughter, Elizabeth Jane Magee of Woolwich Township, NJ; two sons, Harry Edward Magee of Albermarle, NC and Michael David Magee of Pedricktown, NJ; a sister, Anne Wilemina Piemontese; a brother, William DeWitt Magee; three grandchildren, Dawn Elizabeth Lange, Willow Ann Magee and Drew Edward Magee; five great grandchildren, Quentin William Lange, Alexia Rose Lange, Ashlyn Nicole Fredo, Phoenix Chase Fredo and Reed Jackson Fredo.

In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

The Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge is handling arrangements.
