Mrs. Mary Sue Adams Sibold, age 99, of Covington, Virginia, died Saturday, February 15, 2014, at LewisGale Hospital-Alleghany, Low Moor.

She was the wife of the late John Otis Sibold.

Mrs. Sibold was born November 17, 1914 in Russell County, VA, the daughter of the late Charles Carrington Adams and Ollie Thompson Adams.

During her working career, she was an employee of the former Industrial Rayon Corporation.

Mrs. Sibold was a very active member of First Christian Church.

Mrs. Sibold is survived by one daughter, Juanita Rorrer and husband, L.A. of Haymarket; two grandsons; Mark Rorrer and wife, Erica of Virginia Beach and David Rorrer and wife, Beth of Leesburg; two great grandsons, Trevor Rorrer and Blake Rorrer; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Sibold was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 20, 2014, from the chapel of Loving Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Gilliland officiating. Interment will follow in Alleghany Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends on Thursday morning from 11:00 a.m. until service time at Loving Funeral Home.
