Bobbie Jo Morrison, age 41, of 826 Long Avenue, Covington, Virginia, died Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 504 Commerce Avenue, Iron Gate.
She was born May 4, 1972 in Clifton Forge to Archie Lee and Nina Ray Morrison.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her companion, James Lee "Jamie" Boyd, Jr.; a son, James Lee Boyd III; a sister-in-law, Alexis Boyd; and a brother, Charles Morrison and wife, Debbie, all of Iron Gate.
She was preceded in death by a son, Gunter Morrison; a brother, Rakey Morrison; and two sisters, Carolyn M. Foscoe and Donna M. Kimberlin.
In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the residence of Archie and Nina Morrison, 231 Park Avenue, Clifton Forge, with Reverend Hunter Hale and Tommy Persinger officiating.
The Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, is handling arrangements.
