Obituary for Julian Keith Norman Julian Keith Norman
Richmond Native Worked With Swoope Plumbing And Heating

Julian Keith Norman, 57, of 1301 Donovan Street, Selma, Virginia, died Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Rockingham Memorial Hospital.

He was born February 8, 1957 in Richmond, a son of the late Julian Gardner and Iva Haynes Norman.

Keith worked for Swoope Plumbing and Heating.

He was a member of Iron Gate Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Norman of Selma: a step-daughter, Jaclyn McAlister of Danville; a step-son, Phillip McAlister of Colonial Heights: a sister, Claudia McGlothlin of Dunn, North Carolina; two brothers, Dennis Norman and Lacy Norman, both of West Point, Virginia; a step-granddaughter, Summer Ann Jefferies; three nieces, Sherri, Stacey and Christian; and two great nephews, Logan and Gabriel.

A funeral service will be conducted Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. at Iron Gate Baptist Church with the Reverend Hunter Hale officiating.

In keeping with his wishes, his body will be cremated following the service.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Nicely Funeral Home or friends may call any time at the residence of 1301 Donovan St., Selma.

In Lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to American Cancer Society, Alleghany Highlands Division, c/o Karen Buzzard, 807 McCormick Boulevard, Clifton Forge, VA 24422.
