Laura Robison Gallew, 84, of Covington, Virginia, died Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Woodlands Health and Rehab Center in Clifton Forge.

Mrs. Gallew was born August 28, 1929 in Alleghany County, a daughter of the late Lonnie Ancle and Mildred Lucille Craft Robinson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Franklin Gallew in 2002, and also by two brothers, Thurman Robinson in 2006, and Carl R. Robinson in 2012.

She is survived by one sister, Alma Gillespie of Covington; a brother, Harold Robinson of Covington, and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 19, 2014 in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dan Gillette officiating.

The interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on hour prior to service time at the Arritt Funeral Home on Monday.
