Hinton, West Virginia Native Was Miami Dolphins Fan

Lola Ann Crawford Dees, 65, of Scott Hill, Clifton Forge, Virginia, died Monday, May 26, 2014 at her residence.

She was born in Hinton, West Virginia, on May 6, 1949, a daughter of the late Fred Clarence and Lola Crawford.

She was retired Unit Secretary at Pembroke Pines General Hospital in Pembroke Pines, Florida, and was Past President of the Broward Eagle Motorcycle Club in Florida.

Mrs. Dees attended the Oak Hill Bible Church in Clifton Forge as well as the Gospel Tabernacle Church of God in Covington.

She loved the Miami Dolphins.

She is survived by two daughters, Vicki Hall and husband, Johnny of Clifton Forge, and Julie Brackenridge and husband, Mark of Selma; 5 grandchildren, Kimmie Hostetter, Victoria Hall, Karly Brackenridge, Savannah Carter and Macyn Carter; a great grandchild, Elisa Hostetter.

Mrs. Dees is also survived by her many loving friends and neighbors at Scott Hill.

She was preceded in death by a daughter Michele Lynn McKinney and long-time companion, Ralph "Mac" McNair.

In keeping with her wishes, her body was cremated.

There will be no service at this time.

Arrangements are being handled by Nicely Funeral Home.
