Mary Kristine Barbour, age 37, of 617 Church St, Clifton Forge, Virginia, died Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem, Virginia.

She was born July 19, 1976 in Suffolk, Virginia, to Carolyn Conner Barbour and the late Roy Coleman Barbour, Jr.

She was a Certified Nursing Assistant for the former Liberty House Nursing Home.

She is survived by her mother, Carolyn Conner Barbour of Clifton Forge; a daughter, Taylor Brooke Kimberlin Barbour of Amsterdam, NY; a brother, Timothy Cary of Lexington; a sister, Stacy Lamack of Chesterfield; three grandchildren, Jayden Michael Barbour, Brooke Lynn Noel Baumgeartel, and Ethan Joseph Cole Baumgeartel; an aunt, Beverly Kern of Iron Gate; an uncle, William Conner, Jr. of Covington; and five cousins, Ronald William Kern of Eagle Rock, Brian Craig Kern of Eagle Rock, Michael Alan Kern of Covington, William Conner III of Covington; and Dylan Conner of Covington.

In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

The Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, handled the arrangements.
