Carmela Emilia Germanio Horn, 85, of Raphine, Virginia, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, June 13, 2014.

She was born on July 17, 1928 in Brooklyn, N.Y., daughter of the late Nicholas Germanio, Sr. and Angelina Sabetello Germanio.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by an infant son, Richard Horn.

Mrs. Horn is survived by her beloved husband, Ricie Hiawatha Horn, her daughter, Mary Virginia Wood and husband, Eugene; and her granddaughter, Angela Jean Bennington and husband, Todd.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home with the Pastor Sebby Volpe officiating. Burial will follow at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
