Obituary for Cheryl Frost Jarvis Cheryl Frost Jarvis
Lexington Native Was HDT Machine Operator

Cheryl Frost Jarvis, 57, of Lexington, Virginia,died Sunday, June 29, 2014 at her home.

Born May 8, 1957 in Lexington, she was a daughter of the late Raymond Peck Frost and Katherine Luecker Frost.

Cheryl was a member of the Greater Vision Pentecostal Assembly.

She was employed as a machine operator at HDT, was a former member of the Fairfield Rescue Squad where she served as a EMT, and loved to ride motorcycles and fish.

Surviving are her husband, Tony Jarvis; one son, Michael Frost and wife, Heather; two stepchildren, Crystal Jarvis, Chase Jarvis, all of Lexington; biological mother, Vivian Maxine Anthony of Staunton; six siblings, Wanda Gansan of Churchville, Anthony Cash of Md., Jay Fields of N.C., Michael Fields of Ga., Kevin Fields of Harrisonburg, Jason McCelland of Troutville; three grandchildren, Ryen Beach, Jonathan Entsminger, Christopher Clark; three God children, Jessica May Hahn, Caleb Andrew Fine, Jared Clifton Simmons; best friend, Tamara Lea Simmons.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 5, 2014 at Harrison Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Horace Douty officiating. Burial will follow at Timber Ridge A.R.P. Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made in loving memory of Cheryl to the Lexington Fire Department, 708 S. Main Street, Lexington, VA 24450.
