*Marie Hepler Crizer, 92, of 1322 S. David St., Covington, Virginia, died Monday, August 4, 2014 at her home.

Mrs. Crizer was born December 25, 1921 in Alleghany County, a daughter of the late Baxter and Nannie Baker Hepler.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by seven sisters and brothers.

She was a longtime member of McAllister Memorial Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are her husband, Paul L. Crizer, Sr., of Covington; one son and daughter-in-law, Paul L. Jr. and Dawn Crizer, of Covington; and a number of nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the graveside in Alleghany Memorial Park with the Rev. Bill Gilliland officiating.

The family will receive friends at Arritt Funeral Home for one hour prior to the funeral service on Thursday.
