Madeline Martin Ward, 70, of Buena Vista, Virginia, died Friday, August 15, 2014.
Born May 5, 1944, in Lexington, she was a daughter of the late Pooley Black and Vivian Martin.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, Buena Vista. Surviving are her husband, James Ward; children, Sharon Richardson, Paula Hubbard, Nadine Richardson (Louis Watson), Cindy Fisher and husband, Willie, and Patrick Richardson; step children, Shemecka Ward and James Gregory Ward; grandchildren, Marcus Tyler, Keshawn Fisher, Tameah Fisher; step granddaughter, Aleah Ward.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p. m. Wednesday, August 20, 2014, at First Baptist Church, Buena Vista. Burial will follow in Green Hill Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
Arrangements are being handled by Boiling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Buena Vista, VA.
