U.S. Air Force Veteran Was Master Pipefitter, Plumber

Brian Andrew Dunleavy, age 70, of 212 Bath Street, Clifton Forge, Virginia, died Friday, September 12, 2014 at his residence.

He was born November 15, 1943 in Lackawanna, Pennsylvania, to the late Andrew Grand John Dunleavy and Grace Branch Dunleavy.

He served in the United States Air Force and was a master pipefitter and plumber for Local # 10 Plumbers and Steamfitters Union.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Lynn Mays Dunleavy in July of 2013; a brother, Billy Dunleavy; and a sister, Anna Claire Hicks.

He is survived by two daughters, Denise Diane McPartland and husband, Michael of Hollywood, FL, and Robin Jeanette Drury of Maryland; a son, Keith Brian Dunleavy; a step daughter, Theodora Elizabeth Jaeger and husband, Harry of Chesapeake; a step son, Wayne Broughman and wife, Sarah of Clifton Forge; four sisters, Claudia Stegmeir and husband, Viktor of Charlotte, NC, Margie Kirkman and husband, Wayne of Eden, NC, Rachel Dunleavy of Reidsville, NC, and Terry Dunleavy of Charlotte, NC; six grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews; and special friend, Cindy Gier of Clifton Forge

In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated.

There are no services scheduled at this time. Nicely Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
