Richard Pauley, 63, of Moundsville, WV, died Sunday, September 28, 2014 at his home.

He was born July 13, 1951 in Lincoln County, WV, a son of the late Walter and Emily McClure Pauley.

Richard was a retired coal miner from Consolidated Coal Company and was a member of the UMWA.

Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Smith Pauley of Moundsville, WV; one daughter, Susan Fitzpatrick Benwood, WV; three grandchildren, Cheyanne, Nicolas and Sarah Fitzpatrick; two sisters, Sonja Moss of Oceana, WA and Teresa Minnie of Elkton, VA; two brothers, Steve Pauley of Benton, AZ and Joseph Stephens of Charleston, WV.

A private interment will be held at Alleghany Memorial Park. The Arritt Funeral Home, Covington, Virginia, is handling the arrangements.
