Former Lexington High School Maintenance Employee Was Faith Mountain Baptist Church Member

George William (Bill) Pultz, 92, of Lexington, Virginia, died Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at the Golden Living Center in Buena Vista, Va.

Born August 19, 1922 in Goshen, Va. a son of the late George Franklin Pultz and Cora Jackson Pultz.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth S. Pultz; and a brother, Henry Pultz.

Bill was a member of the Faith Mountain Baptist Church and retired from the maintenance department at Lexington High School after many years of service.

Surviving are two daughters, Carolyn Weigel of Wake Forest, N.C. and Sandra Stuples of Lexington, Va.; three granddaughters; five great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Harrison Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Brent McGuirt officiating. Burial will follow at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in loving memory of Bill to Rockbridge Area Hospice, 315 Myers Street, Lexington, VA 24450.

The family received friends 5 to 6 p.m. Friday, October 10, 2014 at Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, VA.
