Gladys Hartless Fitzgerald, 86, of Lexington, Virginia, died Friday, November 28, 2014, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Born November 14, 1928, in Rockbridge County, she was a daughter of the late Ollie A. Hartless and Bertie Hostetter Hartless.

Mrs. Fitzgerald was a member of the Buena Vista Pentecostal Holiness Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, J.R. "Doc" Fitzgerald; sisters; Marie Henkle, Lucille Johnson, and Primrose Ruley; and a brother, Albert Hartless.

Surviving are her children; Glenn Orender and wife, Lynn, Wayne Orender, Donna Camden and husband, Eddie, Bonnie Wallace and husband, Jeff, Elizabeth Camden and husband, Phillip, Betty Hamilton and husband, Randy, Judy Fitzgerald; 15 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. December 1, 2014, at the Buena Vista Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. W. A. Mills and the Rev. W. David Bain officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
