Obituary for Beulah Wickine Taylor Beulah Wickine Taylor
West Virginia Native Was Longtime Covington Resident

Beulah Wickine Taylor, 94, of Stanley, NC, and formerly of Covington, Virginia, died Monday December 1, 2014.

She was born March 10, 1920, in Monroe County, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Ira Hayes and Nita Baker Wickline.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Elmo Fleshman in 1967, and a son, James E. Fleshman in October 2014, and also by five sisters and two brothers.

Mrs. Taylor was employed in the storeroom at Westvaco, at the former Smith's Supermarket, at the former General Office Supplies Store, and retired from the former Legget Department Store in Covington.

Surviving are her husband, Haroll Taylor of Stanley, NC; four daughters, Dorothy Burks and husband, Jerry of Covington; Vaughna Shank of Roanoke; Michaelene Baffuto and husband, Mike of Mechanicsville and special caregiver, Bonita Adams and husband, Jerry of Stanley,NC.; ten grandchildren, Michelle and Jimmy Cash and Lisa and Dennis Trainer, all of Covington; James Fleshman, Ann and Charles McDonald ,and Jeffery Fleshman, all of Dublin, VA; Annette Morris of Woodbridge, Cherie and Billy Rinn of Roanoke, Stacey and Brian Duke of Mechanicsville, Steven and Brooke Baffuto of Christansburg, and Sara Baffuto of Richmond; 18 great grandchildren; 3 step great grandchildren; one great great grandson; one sister, Bernadine W. Andrews of Springfield, and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Friday December 5, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the Arritt Funeral Home with the Rev. Buddy Burks officiating.

The family will receive their friends one hour prior to service time on Friday at Arritt Funeral Home.

Interment will follow in Alleghany Memorial Park.

The family suggests that memorial donations in Mrs. Taylor's name be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, 3959 Electric Road, Roanoke, VA 24018.
